Episode #23, Scene 6: Loss (partial)
Unfortunately, the Renewal does not revise the cut descriptions to take the changes made in NPC to preexisting OA cuts into account. This is a shame, of course, because many of the reanimated cuts have been instilled with new levels of subtlety; examples here would be 201, 215, 207, 219, 220, 222, and 223. :sigh: I guess we'll have to make do.

Reichu: "Misato gently touches (him)" is "Sotto fureru Misato". This simple wording immediately recalls the OP, where "Sotto fureru mono" is sung just as MIsato's hand courses across the screen... This obviously reinforces the association between the "Cruel Angel's" line and this scene (as representative of Misato's inner character) that many no doubt already had in mind. |
